I've got a nice line-up for the next few nights that's sure to please oppo. this is just me dicking around on a Sunday night.

No, I know about the "friends who are girls" thing. It's just A) I hit on almost any person (male or female, under the age of 30) I meet and B) my girlfriend tends to overreact about stuff like that (you should have seen the shitstorm I got after I posted a picture of me between 2 girls on a friendly night out while I was in Belgrade, Serbia)

Trust me, I do tend to do that. the exceptions being my close friends, because I've already done it to them, and my friends girlfriends/boyfriends, because I'm to nice to be MR. STEAL YO GIRL/GUY.

HA! that's what you think. It's nice when you actually spend time together, but when your girlfriend works 2 jobs, and does a lot of stuff, it's usually us just texting back and fourth when she's off work/ late at night.

Don't get me wrong, I love my GF, it's just my car's a much better companion, and since they complain about equally, I can't tell the difference ;)

(also, don't let this give off the wrong impression about me, I'm not some jerk/playa. Right now, I've been up since 6AM, and have spent way too much on premium for the GLI today, so I'm tired and pissed. Usually I'm a bit more upbeat)

Well I did go on vacations but when I was at home and not doing anything that's pretty much all I've done. I don't have a car and I can't drive alone yet so I'm kind of limited on what I can do with my friends and alone.

dude, I completely get how you feel. trust me, I do. you don't want to know how many amazing events I missed just because of the fact I couldn't get there. Well now, i'll be getting there in style, speed, and comfort.

In Europe, it's different, because busses and cabs and trains are things, and they are affordable/free! In the states, you kind of need to have a car.

I'll hate myself tomorrow for saying this, but...

I like the 2.0T, but I ADORE the 2.5 5-pot. The car just has a certain character to it. It drives like it shouldn't! You expect the GLI to hug the road, to be tight and perfect, but not the mid-range 2.5SE, and it delivers in spades! Im confident the 2.5SE has a better 0-60 time than the GLI, and I just love the deep, rich throb of that 5-cylinder that VW used to use

The GLI is an amazing car, but it's missing just one slight detail that the 2.5SE has, and that's a playful character.

I will tell you this; Before you buy the focus, find one with a 5-speed, and drive it hard. you will thank me later. It is one of the most underrated engines in recent history. Also, what other car is there for the money that will get up to 64mph in SECOND gear???

Yeah, the 2.5 with a 5-speed. I strongly suggest a Jetta or a golf with this engine, and a 5-speed box. it's an amazing combo that you will love
